I absolutely despised the nylon strap that came on this watch; an excessive amount of nylon that fed through two separate strap loops, then doubled-up twice around the wrist, which made for bulky and rigid wear. However, with a little custom tailoring using some heavier scissors (I cut the strap down a bit), and the watch is now very comfortable to wear. This timepiece is one of my favorites for sure.
